Matthew Scampoli Joins Zeno Group as Vice President, Healthcare

NEW YORK, NY (March 22, 2007) – Zeno Group is pleased to announce that Matthew Scampoli has joined the public relations firm's New York office as a vice president. In his new position, Scampoli will be responsible for working with, and helping to grow, Zeno's health care practice.

Scampoli brings more than a decade of professional communications experience within healthcare, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, to the position. His background includes extensive editorial, journalistic, ethical pharmaceutical and consumer – focused OTC healthcare product and medical device launch experience.

Prior to joining Zeno, Scampoli served as global manager of product communications and advocacy relations for Schering–Plough Corp. in Kenilworth, NJ, where he was assigned to the company's oncology, men's health and respiratory portfolios.

Prior to joining Schering, he served as marketing manager at Bayer HealthCare, a division of Bayer Corp. in West Haven, CT. In this role, he oversaw consumer and professional marketing for the brand LEVITRAŽ, including a multimillion–dollar NFL sponsorship and all media related activities.

Earlier in his career, he worked at EURO RSCG Life and Manning Selvage and Lee, on products ranging from surgical devices to post–marketing programs for oncology chemotherapeutic products.

Scampoli is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and is listed in the soon–to–be–published Cambridge Who's Who in American Business 2008. He began his career as a journalist for Chase Communications Group in Westchester, NY.
