Zeno Publishes Fourth Annual Impact Report: “Toward Something Better”

Zeno Impact Report FY25 Header

In a year marked by global conflict, economic pressure, and mounting social and civic challenges, Zeno leaned into its purpose more than ever before. It served as our north star, shaping how we showed up for one another, for our communities, and for our planet.

We believe deeply that purpose and responsible business aren’t nice-to-haves—they’re fundamental to who we are and integrated into all we do. Leading with our values is both an immediate and long-term business imperative. It strengthens our culture, inspires our employees, sparks innovation, builds trust with clients and creates positive societal impact.

That’s why I’m especially proud to share Zeno’s fourth annual Toward Something Better Report, which highlights the many ways our people turned our purpose into impact in FY25:

Respecting Our Planet

  • Began integrating our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at the holdings company level, so that Zeno’s future sustainability efforts will contribute to DJEH’s science-based target.
  • Engaged employees through local Eco Crews – on the ground champions who drive recycling and composting in our offices, host events and share every day sustainability tips.

Championing Our People

  • Empowered employees to lead in a changing landscape through new learning and development offerings, including AI Playground and our generation-bridging Project GAP.
  • Hosted 15 cultural and educational events through our DEI Council and continued to engage our seven ERGs, creating opportunities for meaningful conversation and deeper understanding.

Strengthening Our Communities

  • Celebrated our seventh consecutive Zeno Gives Back Day of Service, volunteering 1,477 hours across 35 organizations in 17 cities.
  • Dedicated 3,400 hours, representing an $823,000 investment, to pro bono clients, including co-founding the LA Strong Communications Coalition and supporting Civic Consulting Alliance, among many others.

Advancing Our Industry

  • Celebrated our fourth year of Agency Allyship with EGAMI Group, launching a new professional development program and further integrating client teams.
  • Facilitated 24 in-person and virtual sessions across our network of university partners.
  • Partnered with clients to turn bold ideas into meaningful action that strengthens communities and helps build a more sustainable future.

As I reflect on this year, I’m reminded that impact isn’t built in easy moments. It’s shaped in the challenging ones. FY25 tested organizations across industries, yet it also reinforced why our purpose matters. When we choose to lean in with intention and integrity, we don’t just navigate uncertainty—we help shape something better because of it.

I’m deeply proud of our Zenoids and grateful to our clients and partners who continue to challenge us to raise the bar. As we look ahead to FY26, our commitment remains the same: champion the courageous, lead with responsibility and ensure that impact remains central to how we grow, serve, and show up in the world. The work continues—and I couldn’t be more energized for what’s next.
