Leadership Moves

Zeno Group has promoted Thomas Bunn as the firm’s first Global Chief Client Impact Officer responsible for guiding the agency’s work to achieve optimal business outcomes for clients.

Bunn will oversee Global Strategy + Planning, Analytics, Client Experience, and Innovation to further strengthen the impact of the work Zeno delivers. This new structure will also facilitate a re-imagined approach to client teams, prioritizing the right mix of specialist capabilities and business acumen powered by data-driven strategy and smart creative. In addition, Bunn will add strategic rigor to the agency’s innovation pipeline to ensure alignment with clients’ current and future needs.

“For many of our clients, we operate as strategically additive business thinkers and advisors as well as communications experts. Thomas’ appointment will ensure that our capabilities and teams are evolving to broaden the impact we make on our clients’ business and reputation,” said Barby K. Siegel, Global CEO, Zeno Group. “In this new role, Thomas leverages his insightful and inclusive strategic mindset, global perspective and collaborative approach that instills confidence among clients and colleagues alike.”

Bunn has held a variety of roles during his eight years at Zeno including most recently as Global Head of Planning, leading strategy for some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients.

“Today’s fast-moving, unpredictable environment requires our teams to help clients see around corners with heightened accuracy, anticipating major shifts and continuously demonstrating the business and reputational impact of our work. By re-setting and optimizing our team structures with data, strategy and creative embedded at the core, we will be even better equipped to deliver insights that inspire action with speed, precision and creativity," said Bunn, Chief Client Impact Officer, Zeno.

In addition, Zeno announced three other leadership moves that sharpen the agency’s focus on some of the firm’s most in-demand, impact-driving offerings:

  • Therese Caruso has been elevated to Chief Strategist, The Human Project: Values, Culture + Strategy. For the past 11 years, Caruso has built and led Zeno’s global Strategy + Planning capability. Therese’s new role will allow her to provide strategic stewardship for some of Zeno’s largest clients: unlocking insights to drive the most impactful client work. In addition, Therese will continue to preside over and evolve Zeno’s IP, The Human Project, grounded in the study of human values across audience cohorts.
  • Theresa Bertrand has been appointed Head of Strategy + Planning, Zeno U.S. leading a team of B2C and B2B strategists across the agency. Bertrand joined Zeno nearly two years ago and has distinguished herself as a sought-after strategic partner to clients and teams, anticipating challenges and uncovering opportunities that stimulate growth and innovation.
  • Becky Prindable has been named Head of Analytics, Zeno U.S., responsible for operations and overseeing a team of data scientists, engineers and analysts focused on delivering actionable insights to inform, optimize and measure client work.

“The moves we are making underscore our growing body of client work that relies upon our ability to discover, articulate and predict the business and cultural insights that will inspire deeper audience engagement and measurable business impact. This strategic rigor is especially important with heightened expectations and pressure on brands and companies, internally and externally,” Siegel said.
