It’s 2019 and now is the time to embrace data. We’ve been talking about it far too long and the time has finally come to put words into action. Data-driven storytelling has been a popular buzzword among the media and industry pundits for several years now and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. And while it’s a great talking point, Internally, business leaders are wanting to see quantifiable results from all marketing and communications programs.

To give you a head start in your planning for the new year, we have started compiling media research on core technology topics that drove coverage and conversation in 2018. We’ve included the following in each analysis:

• The top media publications that led the narrative for each topic, correlating volume with resonance
• The volume of coverage for 2018
• The most commonly used terms and phrases used within the context of each topic

We’ve also looked at influencers (both media and non-media) within each topic area:
