Creating and Launching Hyatt’s Global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Platform
During hospitality's most challenging period with COVID-19 effectively shutting down the industry, Hyatt set forth to take a more definitive approach to delivering high-impact actions to address the most pressing challenges facing its colleagues, guests, owners and communities. Zeno and Hyatt collaborated to conceptualize and launch World of Care, a new global ESG platform that serves as a strategic guide for the company’s current and future initiatives.
In launching World of Care, Hyatt disclosed its workforce diversity data through its inaugural DE&I report, a major step in ensuring transparency and accountability for future progress. Hyatt also introduced a new environmental framework with ambition to advance progress on climate change and water conservation, waste and circularity, responsible sourcing and thriving destinations by 2030.
